The Technisonic A740 Interconnect Patch Bay is a 4-station interconnect junction assembly with individual connectors for transceivers providing for common supplemental Rx source interconnect, power distribution and audio load terminations. This system is currently offered in a four wide configuration only. Interconnect is simple pin-to-pin, disconnectable cabling to stations distributed through the aircraft, and permits very easy cable prefabrication and testing prior to installation. The A740 eliminates time consuming terminal block wiring and loose wire termination in the airframe, and expensive terminal blocks for audio signal distribution. Correct audio terminations and microphone RFI suppression are included. Once the A740 installation is in place, adding or changing radio systems become a simple "plug and play" operation.
